Our SAGE Open House is next Thursday, October 6th in our Briarcliff classroom. Although we haven't had many days together, you have been working hard and have many things to show your parents. What specific work are you excited about sharing?

Mia, I'm glad you had a good weekend! You will have to tell me about it when we get together. I was disappointed that we will not be together this week, but the CoGAT testing is important. Mia, Remember, everyone works at their own pace in most of our work. We will mainly work on Exploratory, TOPS, Math Rules and Logic Links. We are going to review the Components of Creativity, but you already know that from last year. You will not be behind.
ReplyDeleteSo two final things and then I need to go and clean my kitchen! First, please watch when you are posting a comment that you do not hit enter/return a whole bunch of times. It stretches out your comment and puts a lot of wasted space in out blog.
And last, a quick question for you... What Internet browser do you use at home? We are having a lot of trouble with Internet Explorer. It will not allow people to comment in Blogger for some reason. FireFox and Safari will. I was curious as to which you were using?

Dear, Mrs. Koch, today i had a lot of fun learning about lizards eyes that are round. And snakes eyes are a line. I wounder what we will do next week?

ReplyDeleteI love reptiles! Where did you learn about the snakes and lizards? Some snakes do have pupils shaped like a slit. They are venomous. Non-venomous snakes have a round pupil. Are there any lizards with a slit shaped pupil? I wonder? As far as next week goes, check out my reply to Mia's post from today on the main Primary Thinkers blog, under the "Class Rules" post. I bet it would be popular. It is such a pretty weekend! I went to my son's basketball game but I'm afraid the rest of my weekend is going to grade cards. I love teaching, but grade cards, not so much! :-)
